The steam locomotive ODIN does the pulling. It was built from scratch and without the original engine from 1846 as bearing. It is an incredible achievement, as the original ODIN drawings have long since been lost, and the parts are produced by specialist craftspeople.
On the tour, ODIN is the locomotive for two of the museum’s carriages. One is a DJDS C 2 from 1862, one of Denmark’s oldest preserved passenger carriages. The second carriage is the Skovvognen, CC 322, from 1880, the country’s oldest preserved lumber carriage. It was originally built for the Klampenborgbanen line.
Join us on a nostalgic journey around Odense with beautiful vintage bus. We run every Monday, Friday and Sunday during the summer holidays, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to experience Odense with a real coach. From the beginning in 1935 to 1979. The two buses used to transport the museum's guests are DSB no. 670 from 1957, which ran the Odense-Ringe-Svendborg route until 1967, and DSB no. 109 from 1966, which operated in Odense until 1987.
Enjoy a very special experience at the Danish Railway Museum when we drive the vintage motor coach LNJ M 4 every saturday in the summer holidays.
