Autumn half-term offers experiences for the whole family
Take a ride on the vintage bus, ride our popular miniature train, play at the Children’s Railway Station, See a children’s show and have fun at the outdoor playground. We are open daily from 09:00 to 16:00. Admission is always FREE for children ages 0-17.
Take a ride on the vintage bus
Hop on a tour around Odense with one of the red vintage buses. The vintage bus runs on selected days during autumn half-term between 10:00-15:00. The trip lasts approximately 20 minutes and is free once you have paid for admission to the museum.
Take a ride on the miniature train
Take a ride on the popular miniature train. You'll ride outdoors and pass the old Little Belt Bridge, a Great Belt ferry and a railway town. The trip begins at Copenhagen Central Station. Departures are between 9:15 and 15:45 every day, and a trip takes about 5 minutes.
Trains fascinate young and old alike
Explore the large locomotives and beautiful carriages. See the orange tractor from the movie "The Olsen Gang on the Track" and the giant snow plough. There’s enough here for an exciting few hours for young and old alike.
Food and drink
The Food Stall in the museum café is open every day from 10:00 to 15:00 and serves light snacks and sandwiches. You are also welcome to bring your own food and beverages. There are tables both indoors on the balcony by tracks 16-19 and outdoors by the miniature train.
